Tottenham transfer news: Adrien Rabiot could join English side as he switches agents

Adrien Rabiot is one of the hottest properties in French football and the midfielder is a free agent at the end of the season.

The Frenchman will not sign a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham have been linked with the player in the past (h/t Football.london).

Sport (h/t Football.london) claims that there is no certainty to where Rabiot could be heading off to. The report adds that Barcelona was the preferred destination for the 23-year-old, and the Frenchman has now replaced his agent to help him find a new club next season.

The player was represented by his mother earlier, and the report claims that English and Italian clubs are still in contact with Rabiot as they want to sign the 23-year-old.

Lots of Premier League interest for Rabiot

The report adds that Spurs face competition from London clubs Arsenal and Chelsea for the 23-year-old too.

Rabiot is one of the best players coming out from Ligue 1, and he would make a decent signing for Mauricio Pochettino to develop in the coming years.

It will be interesting to see how things develop with Rabiot in the coming months given that there have been several twists and turns regarding the future of the 23-year-old.
