Latest Tottenham news: Some Spurs fans want Davinson Sanchez banned after kicking out at Laurent Koscielny
The Tottenham-Arsenal derby was full of drama and incident. Penalties, a red card and a ton of controversy were thrown into the mix but neither team could come out with all three points. The draw kept us in third place with Manchester United just three points behind us.
Hugo Lloris came up trumps late on in the game with a great penalty save. The Gunners finished the game with 10 men after Lucas Torreira was sent off for a challenge on Danny Rose.
There was another incident that referee Anthony Taylor seemed to miss, and it featured a Tottenham player.
Sanchez a little lucky against Arsenal
Davinson Sanchez tangled with Laurent Koscielny and seemed to kick the French defender. The Colombian was lucky not to be sent off, and the Daily Mail claims the centre-back could face retrospective action.
The referee didn’t have a great game at Wembley as there were some other incidents that could have been dealt with better. Sanchez has been decent this season but there have been a few instances where his inexperience has shown.
The 22-year-old centre-back has started 21 times in the Champions League and Premier League this season. However, some fans wanted him to receive a ban for his antics in the North London derby.
I can’t say I’m surprised. It’s yet another example of one of our players losing his head in a big game. If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times, buy some experience, for God’s sake!!

He deserves it. It was the 1 ugly moment from one of our players. We can take out the trash without beating it on the way to the bin.

He should get banned 100%. Should never do that

He’s young but he needs to know better and keep his cool. Lucky he didn’t see red.
