Tottenham transfer news: Spurs fans split on Patrick Cutrone links

Tottenham have enquired about AC Milan star Patrick Cutrone, according to Tutto Mercato Web (h/t Football.london).

The Italian striker has seen his minutes reduce in the first-team after Milan signed Krzysztof Piatek in the winter window.

Piatek has been on fire after joining, and the report claims that Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid are also interested in the 21-year-old.

AC Milan are willing to let go of the forward but are looking at a transfer fee ranging between €30m-€35m, according to the report.

Cutrone has nine goals and two assists in all competitions for Milan this season, and it will be interesting to see if we press on for the 21-year-old.

Tottenham need another striker in the team as we cannot depend on Harry Kane throughout the season.

Kane was out for close to two months with an ankle injury, and we had a bit of trouble before Fernando Llorente and Son Heung-min saved our blushes in a few games.

Tottenham fans don’t know what to make of Cutrone

Spurs do need to spend in the summer after going through two windows without signing a player.

Cutrone has had his problems this season with a lack of goals but it is difficult to replace a striker like Piatek. The new signing for Milan has started his career at the San Siro on fire with seven goals in eight games.

Some Spurs fans wanted Cutrone to join while others wanted to us to strengthen other positions in the team.
