Latest Tottenham news: Tottenham assistant manager Jesus Perez celebrates win over Dortmund on Twitter
Tottenham had one of their best European moments in recent years as we completed the job against Borussia Dortmund.
The Bundesliga side knew they had to overturn a 3-0 deficit from the first leg, however, we held strong in the early goings of the game.
Hugo Lloris had some important saves to make while our defence tried to keep the attackers at bay.
Tottenham were happy to soak up the pressure and hit them quick, and it worked a treat. The winning moment came in the second half as Harry Kane finished clinically from a Moussa Sissoko pass.
Spurs look great in this competition, and it is a massive turnaround after we struggled in the first three games of the group stage.
Perez celebrates and so do the fans
It should not come as a surprise that most the players were ecstatic but so were the coaching staff after the win.
Spurs assistant manager Jesus Perez doesn’t really post a lot on Twitter. In fact, he only has 199 tweets since opening his account in 2015.
However, this result was important for him, it seems, and he wants Spurs to keep going in the competition.

Tottenham have one of the best set of coaches in the Premier League. Mauricio Pochettino and his team have worked hard to take Spurs to this level, and hopefully we can achieve a lot more in the coming years.
Perez might not be in the limelight often, but many Spurs fans were quick to thank him and the team for this brilliant result.
We are so happy 😊
Thanks to you & Poch, the rest of the team and of course the players 👊🏼😁#COYS— Kirsty Fleeson (@KirstyFleeson) March 5, 2019
