Tottenham transfer news: Fans don’t want club to sign Thomas Strakosha due to Paulo Gazzaniga
Hugo Lloris is one of the best keepers in the world, especially after winning the World Cup. However, the Tottenham captain is prone to making an error or two.
The Spurs star has made a few mistakes during his career in London but has also saved us several times.
The latest showing was against Borussia Dortmund as he kept us in the game thanks to a string of quality saves.
The Frenchman is 32 and Calciomercato claims that Tottenham are planning for his successor. The report adds that the club is looking at Lazio star Thomas Strakosha, but the Italians don’t want to lose their youngster without a fight.
Tottenham have a quality keeper in the ranks
The 23-year-old Albanian is the first-choice keeper at Lazio and has 32 appearances in all competitions this season.
Tottenham are doing the right thing in planning for a future without Lloris, however, we already have a quality keeper in our team.
Paulo Gazzaniga did an extremely good job when Michel Vorm and Lloris were injured. The Argentine is 27 and can develop into a top keeper if he keeps getting games.
Strakosha isn’t a bad keeper given his performances for Lazio, however, many Tottenham fans were convinced that we have a quality successor for Lloris in Gazzaniga.
He’s already at the Club, Paulo Gazzaniga 🤨
