Tottenham transfer news: Spurs enter race to sign unwanted Real Madrid star Isco

Isco is having a poor time in Real Madrid as he has fallen out of favour under Santiago Solari.

Despite the club being knocked out of Europe and needing a miracle to win La Liga this season, the 26-year-old was left out of the squad for the game against Valladolid.

Real won the tie 4-1 but Isco refused to get on the team bus before the game, according to AS (h/t Football.london).

The Spaniard will face further disciplinary actions, according to the report, and it seems his time is coming to an end at the La Liga giants.

A great option for Spurs

The Spaniard is a brilliant player to have in the team but it seems he isn’t in the right frame of mind at the La Liga giants.

Isco has just five starts in La Liga this season and has found the back of the net just four times in all competitions.

Football.london reports that Tottenham have been linked with the Spaniard but we face a lot of competition from our Premier League rivals.

The report adds that Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are also interested in the 26-year-old.

Madrid are expected to make some changes at the club after a horrible season, and the report claims that Isco could be one of the players that will be sold.

The 26-year-old can play out wide or down the middle, and would walk into most teams.

It will be interesting to see if we can battle the other Premier League clubs for his signature, given we haven’t done much in two transfer windows.

Some Spurs fans were excited at the possibility of landing Isco and shared their thoughts on Twitter.
