Latest Tottenham news: Kieran Trippier a doubt for England squad during international break
Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier will be assessed by the England medical team ahead of the international break.
The defender missed the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Southampton with a gluteal injury and the Daily Mail adds that Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan Bissaka could take the place of the Spurs star.
England play the Czech Republic and Montenegro in their Euro 2020 qualifiers and the report adds that the FA will make last minute checks on the availability of the defender.
Trippier struggling for club
The English defender had a wonderful World Cup but it seems he left his form in the summer.
The right-back has made several high-profile mistakes for Spurs this season, and the season is unravelling fast for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
The loss to Southampton was our third defeat in four Premier League games, however, the only bright spot in that defeat was the return of Dele Alli.
The Englishman started against the Saints and assisted our goal as Harry Kane gave us the lead.
The report adds that Alli is expected to be named in the side for the international break despite only returning for Tottenham.

The international break is always a little scary given that our stars can pick up injuries. Hopefully, all the players leaving for their respective nations return unscathed and in some form for the rest of the campaign.
