Latest Tottenham news: Fans aren’t convinced by Christian Eriksen despite national call-up
Christian Eriksen hasn’t had a great season by Tottenham this time around. The Dane came into the season after a tough World Cup and had a muscle injury to deal with.
Recovering from that problem, the 27-year-old playmaker has performed well in some games, but that form has been missing over the past two months or so.
The Dane has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid (h/t Express). Despite his struggles with Spurs, the midfielder was called up for the internationals to be played by the Denmark national side.

Eriksen blows hot and cold
The Dane has seven goals and 11 assists in all competitions this season for Tottenham, but that hasn’t been enough to gain the support of some fans.
Eriksen was poor, once again, in the 2-1 loss to Southampton and had spoken about doing well and moving forward.
However, the team have struggled in recent weeks and are in a real fight to keep hold of a top four place.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are within striking distance, and we cannot afford to drop any more points.
Eriksen could come back from the international break with a bit of form for the final stretch of games. Spurs are still in with a chance of doing well in the Champions League.
However, several fans were certain he would not be able to turn things around for us.
Will he show up for them… been missing at spurs for weeks
