Latest Tottenham news: Kieran Trippier and Harry Winks expected to return for Liverpool clash
Tottenham have travelled to Barcelona for a bit of warm weather training but two players did not make the trip.
Kieran Trippier and Harry Winks have minor issues, and have remained in London to continue their rehabilitation.
Football.london reports that Winks has a groin problem while Trippier has a gluteal muscle strain. The report adds that the pair should be fit for the Premier League clash against Liverpool on 31 March.
Others available for Spurs
Serge Aurier and Toby Alderweireld were also left out of the side that lost to Southampton at the weekend.
The report claims that the pair were left out for precautionary measures and are in Barcelona with the rest of the side.
Even Vincent Janssen is training in Barcelona, but it seems unlikely if he will get any games this season for the first-team.
Dele Alli returned to the first-team and started against Southampton at the weekend. The Englishman provided the assist for the only goal of the game, and his form will be important as we look to finish the season in the top four.
Spurs have dropped important points in recent weeks and need to get back to winning ways. Our next trip is a tough one against Liverpool, and hopefully, Mauricio Pochettino has a strong side to select from.
