Tottenham transfer news: Zinedine Zidane targets Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen
Real Madrid are planning a summer overhaul with former manager Zinedine Zidane back at the helm, according to the Mirror.
The Frenchman left Madrid at the start of the season but sensationally came back after their elimination from the Champions League.
The report claims that Madrid are looking at Neymar and Eden Hazard, but will also move for Tottenham star Christian Eriksen.
The Dane has just one more year left on his deal after the season ends and has so far failed to agree on a new deal at the club.
The report adds that Tottenham want to keep the Dane, however, they would rather get a huge transfer fee for him rather than lose the player on a free.
Eriksen having an inconsistent season for Tottenham
The Dane hasn’t been at his best this season and was anonymous in the 2-1 loss to Southampton.
Eriksen hasn’t had a lot of time to recharge his batteries after the World Cup, but most of the Tottenham players were involved in the summer tournament.
The former Ajax man is still one of the best players in the league on his day, and it will be interesting to see how things develop with him in the summer.

Tottenham could strengthen the team if they sell Eriksen for a large sum, and hopefully, we come out as winners should we let go of the Dane.
