Tottenham transfer news: Juventus set sights on Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele
Juventus have been keeping tabs on Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele for a while and Calciomercato reports that the Turin giants are interested in signing him.
The report claims that Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is a fan of the 22-year-old and Ndombele is also open to moving to Italy.
Tottenham are also tracking the French midfielder and the report claims that Manchester United and Manchester City are also interested in the 22-year-old star.
Ndombele would not come on the cheap as the Lyon president wants somewhere between €75m and €80m (h/t Calciomercato).
The report adds that the race to sign Ndombele could also depend on the performance of all clubs in the Champions League.
Tottenham face a tough task in Europe
Spurs have been great in Europe, despite a poor start to their group games. Mauricio Pochettino’s men overcame a tough group containing Inter Milan and Barcelona. They then defeated Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16.
However, we face Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The Cityzens have been brilliant this season and we have to be at our best to defeat them.
Tottenham need another quality midfielder in the side after selling Mousa Dembele in the winter window. Eric Dier has had his injury problems this season while Victor Wanyama just can’t seem to be fit for a start in recent months.

We have been fortunate due to Moussa Sissoko’s form throughout the campaign, and it will be interesting to see who we add to the side in the summer.
