Latest Spurs news: Spurs Legends vs Inter Forever: All details you need to know, which legends will feature in the game
Tottenham will play one of their test events ahead of their opening clash at the new stadium against Crystal Palace.
The Eagles visit us on 3 April, however, Spurs Legends will face Inter Forever at the new stadium. The first event is an U18 tie against Southampton on 24 March.
The clash between the two legend teams will be on 30 March from 5:30 PM GMT. Tickets for the event are still available via the official club website.
A list of legends united for a great game
Tottenham released the names taking part for Spurs Legends against Inter Forever with Gary Mabbutt managing our team.
The first batch of names confirmed for the tie were Erik Thorstvedt, Stephen Carr, Darren Anderton, Allan Nielsen, David Howells, Rafael van der Vaart, Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie.
Tottenham released the next set of names and there was one big name coming to play.
Jurgen Klinsmann is a legend for Germany and Spurs and the former striker will wear the colours of Spurs and then Inter on March 30.
The 1990 World Cup winner was pleased at participating in the game and spoke about the club too (h/t Tottenhamhotspur.com):
“I can’t wait to be back again in Tottenham and to feel the very unique spirit that surrounds Spurs.”
Mabbutt will be helped on the touchline by Clive Allen and the other names shared for the tie will certainly get some fans excited.
Micky Hazard, Nayim, Mark Falco, Paul Stalteri, Pascal Chimbonda, Teemu Tainio, Chris Perry and Neil Sullivan are all confirmed for the legends clash.
