Latest Spurs news: Jurgen Klinsmann confirmed for Spurs Legends vs Inter Forever clash
Tottenham’s new stadium opening is just a couple of weeks away and one of the test events for the ground is a tie between Spurs Legends and Inter Forever.
The club had shared that former players such as Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov and Rafael van der Vaart would feature and the latest list has some big names too.
Former defender Pascal Chimbonda is on the list along with Nayim and Paul Stalteri, however, the biggest former star from the next list is Jurgen Klinsmann.
The diving German
The 1990 World Cup winner was a hit during his spell at Tottenham, and he was known for his diving celebrations.
It will be a great moment for the German to return to the club and play at the new stadium, and he was pleased to have received the call-up (h/t Tottenhamhotspur.com):
“I can’t wait to be back again in Tottenham and to feel the very unique spirit that surrounds Spurs.”
The German also spent some time with Inter and will play one half for Inter Forever too on 30 March.
Klinsmann also spent time managing Bayern Munich, Germany and the USA.
Clive Allen will be the assistant manager and help Gary Mabbutt in the dugout, but several Tottenham fans were excited at the arrival of Klinsmann.
