Spurs news: Paul Gascoigne tweets desire to play in Spurs Legends vs Inter Forever clash
Tottenham are to open their new stadium with the first game against Crystal Palace on 3 April.
Prior to that, there are a couple of test events scheduled in the next two weekends, and the second event features a legends game between Spurs Legends and Inter Forever.
Tottenham shared a list of players who will feature for us earlier this week. Robbie Keane, Jurgen Klinsmann, Dimitar Berbatov, Rafael van der Vaart and Micky Hazard are some of the big names featuring for our side against the Italians.
However, one footballer seemed to be ready for the clash and even tweeted that he was being bombarded about a legends game at Spurs.

One of the best during his time
There is no denying the fact that Paul Gascoigne was one of the best during his time, and even won the FA Cup with us before leaving for Lazio.
Keeping his off-field issues aside, the former Spurs star was brilliant on the pitch and he could have achieved a lot more if he concentrated a little bit more on football.
The Englishman claims he is ready for the game, and it will be interesting to see if he does make it for the clash.

Tottenham’s first test event is an U18 Premier League clash this weekend, and hopefully, there are no issues with the ground before our Palace tie.
