Spurs transfer news: Tottenham target David Brooks wants to play at highest level
Bournemouth attacker David Brooks wants to play at the highest level after an impressive season under Eddie Howe.
The 21-year-old Welsh attacker joined the Cherries at the start of the campaign and has six goals and four assists to his name.
The Sun reports that Tottenham and Arsenal are eyeing the youngster with a £40million summer bid possible.
Brooks, however, is happy at the Cherries and even signed a new deal that keeps him at the club till 2022 (h/t Sun).
The youngster was speaking during the international break while on duty with Wales and was open to playing abroad if it meant reaching the next levels (h/t Sun):
“I want to play at the highest level possible — whether that is abroad or in England. I don’t know what the future holds for myself.
“Obviously the aim is to get up there and whatever opportunities come, I will have to make the decisions then.”
The Welsh youngster further claimed he isn’t expecting a move away soon and is happy with his progression at Bournemouth so far.
Brooks on the road to success
The youngster was part of the Manchester City academy before joining Sheffield United and highlighted Jadon Sancho’s road to glory.
The English youngster left the Cityzens and has been incredible at Borussia Dortmund.
The 21-year-old has the potential to develop into a quality player and needs to work under the right manager.

However, has done a great job with the Cherries and it will be interesting to see when Brooks makes the jump to a bigger club who challenge for trophies and European spots.
