Spurs transfer news: Victor Wanyama to be on transfer list ahead of major changes at Tottenham
David Hytner of the Guardian wrote extensively regarding the current situation at Tottenham.
The journalist highlighted the situations regarding the future of Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld, who all will have one year left on their deals at the start of next season.
Tottenham also have a few players that haven’t put up many minutes on the pitch this season, and Hytner claimed that Victor Wanyama is one of the players Tottenham will put up for sale.
The 27-year-old Kenyan has made just two starts in the Premier League this season and has struggled with injuries.
The former Southampton midfielder made just eight Premier League starts in the previous campaign and Hytner adds that more players are on the chopping block at Spurs.
A couple of free agents leaving too
Vincent Janssen and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou are two players that are being linked with a move away, and the report adds that Michel Vorm and Fernando Llorente could also leave on a free.
Hytner claims that the sales would mean some players coming into the team and Tottenham have scouted several young players from the English and Scottish leagues.
Wanyama was a quality signing from Southampton a few years ago, and put in some great performances under Mauricio Pochettino.

However, his injury record has been too much of a problem in recent years, and if the Kenyan cannot stay fit for the majority of the campaign, it would be better to sell him off soon.
