Spurs transfer news: Daniel Levy sets £130million tag on Christian Eriksen
The Mirror reports that Tottenham have slapped a £130million price-tag on Christian Eriksen with Real Madrid interested in the Dane.
The Tottenham midfielder will have one year left on his contract at the start of next season, and the report claims that Daniel Levy wants to extract as much as he can from Eriksen’s sale.
Real have paid huge amounts for two Spurs players in the past. Gareth Bale and Luka Modric made the switch from London to Madrid.
The report adds that should Real pay what Levy wants, Eriksen would become the third most expensive player ever after Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Eriksen’s future up in the air
The Dane hasn’t confirmed his future at the club and has avoided questions about what could happen in the summer.
Mauricio Pochettino told a few months ago that Eriksen has the right to decide his future, and that he would understand if the Dane left (h/t Evening Standard).
The 27-year-old is one of the best in the Premier League and has 5 goals and 10 assists from 28 league appearances this season.
Eriksen’s season was hampered at the start of the campaign due to a stomach problem, and replacing the midfielder would be difficult for Spurs.

The Dane was a bargain when he signed from Ajax nearly six years ago, and it will be interesting to see how much we can get from his sale should the midfielder leave in the summer.
