Spurs news: Inter Forever and Spurs Legends put up a show at new Tottenham stadium
Tottenham are all set to host Crystal Palace on 3rd April after their second test event took place on Saturday.
This wasn’t an ordinary test event as legends from two clubs faced off in an incredible match.
Inter Forever had called up some of their best over the years while Spurs did the same with our Spurs Legends team.
Jurgen Klinsmann represented both teams during the fun event with Dimitar Berbatov, Micky Hazard, Robbie Keane and Rafael van der Vaart turning up for Spurs.
A thrilling encounter that will live on forever
Tottenham confirmed that 40,000 supporters had turned up to cheer the legends on, with loud cheers also for Paul Gascoigne’s second-half cameo.
Goals were flying in during the first half with Spurs Legends drawing first blood. Teemu Tainio scored in the seventh minute before David Suazo levelled for the visitors in the 12th minute.
Fan favourite Keane then got into the act as he scored past Julio Cesar and performed his trademark celebration.

The lead lasted for 13 minutes as Suazo scored again. Spurs took the lead for the third time as Allan Nielsen scored after an effort from Keane didn’t work out well.
Inter then got their third as Juan Sebastian Veron scored from a spill by Spurs keeper Erik Thorstvedt.
The tie saw three more goals in the second half with the Italians taking the lead for the first time in the 61st minute.

Inter finished off a memorable evening with Houssine Kharja scoring the winner, but the scoreline was immaterial on such a glorious occasion.
