Spurs transfer news: Tottenham do not plan to sign a first-choice goalkeeper in the summer
Hugo Lloris had a game to forget against Liverpool after his error led to a last-minute winner for the Reds.
The Frenchman has had a difficult season with some high profile errors and a drink-driving charge too.
However, Lloris has played some blinders too, such as the second leg Champions League encounter against Borussia Dortmund, where he made several saves.
The Daily Mail reports that Tottenham have no plans to sign a first-choice keeper in the summer and will instead concentrate on other areas.
Gazzaniga primed to get games?
The report claims that Tottenham are looking at a couple of central midfielders, especially if they can sell Victor Wanyama.
The Kenyan has struggled with his fitness in the previous two seasons and we also sold Mousa Dembele in the winter window.
The report adds that Spurs could look for more creativity in case they lose Christian Eriksen, while a left-back, a Harry Kane back-up and a central defender could also be targeted.
Spurs have a quality No.2 in Paulo Gazzaniga and the report claims that many view the Argentine could replace Lloris in the long-term should the captain’s problems continue.
