Spurs news: Players prepare hard for upcoming Champions League clash against Manchester City

Tottenham arrested a slide of five Premier League games without a win as they beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in the new stadium.

It was an incredible atmosphere at the new ground as Son Heung-min got the first goal of the new stadium.

The South Korean has been excellent for us this season and looked relaxed as the team prepared for their next big clash.

We play Manchester City in the first leg of our Champions League quarter-finals and the team were at it in training.

Lucas Moura was one of our better players in the 2-1 loss to Liverpool, and the Brazilian would want to make a mark when we play the Cityzens.

Tough game against one of the best

The Cityzens have been excellent since the turn of the year and attack teams relentlessly.

Hugo Lloris might have made a mistake in the loss to Liverpool, but the Frenchman has to be at his best on Tuesday night.

The same goes for Kieran Trippier. The Englishman has had a below average season littered with errors, and he needs to be in the right frame of mind going up against the likes of Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling.

Our midfield would need to dominate City’s and Moussa Sissoko would have a huge say in which way the match goes.

The Frenchman has been one of our stars this season, and his energy and tenacity could be keys into disrupting City’s plans.

Tottenham were brilliant in the second half against Liverpool and we lost out due to some misfortune.

Should we play at our best, City will find it difficult to gain a foothold, and hopefully, we come out with a decent lead ahead of the second leg.
