Spurs transfer news: Juventus want €50m-€60m for Tottenham linked Douglas Costa
Tuttosport (h/t Calciomercato) claims that Juventus have provided an indication of how much they want for Douglas Costa.
The 28-year-old hasn’t been in terrific form for the Italian champions and has just one goal from 17 appearances in the Serie A.
Tottenham have been linked with the Brazilian winger as Juventus are also interested in Toby Alderweireld, and the report claims that the Italians want €50m-€60m for the 28-year-old.
The report adds that Juve are looking at several players and want to use the money from Costa’s sale for the likes of Nicolo Zaniolo, Sandro Tonali and Federico Chiesa.
Costa seems to be one of the first names that will be sold in the summer and has also had a tough season with regards to injury, according to the report.
Costa struggling this season
The former Bayern Munich winger has the speed to be a hit in the Premier League, however, he has been inconsistent for Juve this season.
The 28-year-old has also struggled for starts this season and Juventus have done exceptionally well with Cristiano Ronaldo leading them to the top of the table.
Spurs could do with more options out wide but splashing €50m-€60m on Costa seems to be a major risk.
Tottenham should have money to spend in the summer after going two windows without signing a player.
