Spurs transfer news: Jarrod Bowen speaks about links to Tottenham
Hull City youngster Jarrod Bowen has been one of the stars of the Championship season so far.
The 22-year-old has scored 21 goals and provided four assists for the Tigers as they stay in the hunt for promotion.
The English attacker was linked with a move to Tottenham in the winter window, according to Sky Sports, and Spurs scouts have watched the 22-year-old closely too.
Bowen was speaking about his future to Football League World and claimed it was nice being spoken about:
“You always see it wherever you are but I think that shows how well I’ve done which is always nice.
“I’ve got agents, though, so they deal with anything and I try not to worry about it too much.”
Bowen concentrating on current season
As expected from any professional, the Englishman is also thinking about the current season with Hull. The Tigers lie ninth in the table but are five points off a playoff spot.
Hull are unbeaten in their last four games, and Bowen wants to take them to the Premier League. The youngster even terms the final five games of the season as cup finals:
“We’ve got five cup finals left and if we can get the results who knows where we’ll end up.”
Hull need a bit of luck to make it into the playoff places, and that will depend on Bowen firing goals for the team in the remainder of the season.
