Spurs transfer news: Real Madrid unsure about moving for Christian Eriksen after €130m price-tag

Real Madrid are unsure about dealing with Daniel Levy regarding a move for Christian Eriksen, according to the Daily Mail.

The report adds that Levy has slapped a €130m valuation for the 27-year-old, who has just one year left on his current deal.

The Daily Mail adds that the La Liga have baulked at the huge asking price from Spurs for the Dane.

Eriksen is yet to sign a new deal with the club, but he has been in great form recently. The Dane scored the winner against Brighton and has nine goals and 16 assists in all competitions for Spurs.

The report claims that Real know how difficult a person Levy is to deal with after signing Luka Modric and Gareth Bale in the past.

Eriksen could still sign a new deal with Spurs

Mauricio Pochettino was speaking after the win against Brighton and claimed that Eriksen could still sign a new deal with the club (h/t Daily Mail):

“The timing for him or for the club to be agreeing something are maybe different to another player. I hope and I wish Christian can be with us in the future but I think Christian and us, we are so open to talk and we will see what happens.”

The Dane is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and losing him would be a blow.

However, we could provide him with more reasons to stay if we reach the Champions League final and finish in the top four.
