Spurs transfer news: Juventus to bid for Tottenham-target Ryan Sessegnon
Juventus are monitoring Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon and will bid for the 18-year-old, according to the Express.
The youngster has had an up and down season in the Premier League and Fulham have been relegated to the Championship.
Sessegnon has been brought back into the starting XI under Scott Parker and impressed in the wins over Everton and Bournemouth recently.
The report claims that the English youngster is set to leave Craven Cottage in the summer. Fulham want £40million (h/t Express) for the talent, who will have one year left on his deal at the end of this season.
Tottenham one of the teams tracking Sessegnon
The report adds that Mauricio Pochettino is an admirer of the youngster, and Tottenham have been tracking Sessegnon for a while.
Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked with Sessegnon, however, the report claims that Spurs are favourites to land the 18-year-old.
Sessegnon has the potential to be great, however, he needs the right manager to take him to the next level.
Pochettino has worked well with young English players during his time in the country, and moving to another country at such a young age could be a risky proposition for Sessegnon.
Juventus want to freshen things up in Turin and are looking at young signings to fit into an ageing side (h/t Express).
