Latest Spurs news: Tottenham earn £800k from restaurants per match at new stadium
The Sun reports that Tottenham are generating an additional £800k as revenue from their dining options at the new stadium per game.
This amounts to an additional £17.6m income when the numbers are calculated for 19 Premier League home games and three Champions League home ties, according to the report.
Spurs have several outlets in the new ground with a microbrewery, fine dining options and street-food vendors providing options to the supporters.
The report adds that the stadium’s air bridge will also be used as a nightclub and a viewing platform.
City in Tottenham’s dust regarding hospitality revenue
Tottenham’s new stadium is one of the best in the world and the report claims that Manchester City can’t match up to the earnings from our dining options.
The report adds that City bring in £150k per game at the Etihad, and the Cityzens are drawing up plans for another “facelift” of their home.
The Manchester side even got a close look at the new stadium when we defeated them in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.
Tottenham’s start at their new home has been great too. The team is yet to concede a goal and have won all their games since moving in from Wembley.
