Spurs transfer news: Norwich to hand Max Aarons a new deal
Tottenham target Max Aarons has been brilliant for Norwich City this season. The English youngster has been linked with a move to Spurs, with Kieran Trippier being sold by Mauricio Pochettino, according to the Express.
However, the Telegraph reports that the newly promoted side will reward Aarons with a new contract after making it to the Premier League.
Aarons has played 40 times for the Canaries this season and is in line for a new contract, just eight months after signing his last one, according to the report.
The right-back was named as the EFL’s Young Player of the Season and has two goals to his name.
The report adds that Norwich plan to reward many of Daniel Farke’s men for their performances from the previous campaign, and talks with Aarons are to be held prior to the new season.
Aarons doing his bit for club and country
The Norwich youngster was representing the England U19 side until recently, however, the report claims that he could be in line to play for the U21 side at the European Championships.
Tottenham could do with some fresh faces in the side, and Aarons could be a great signing for the future.
The youngster could develop further under the guidance of Pochettino, but he needs to consistently next season.

Kyle Walker-Peters and Serge Aurier are the other senior right-backs in the team, and it will be interesting to see what we plan to do with the pair ahead of the new season.
