Latest Spurs news: Harry Winks targets return ahead of Nations League finals

The Daily Mail reports that Harry Winks is hopeful of returning for England’s Nations League games at the end of the season.

The midfielder underwent groin surgery last week but believes he can be part of the squad that travels to Portugal in June.

The report adds that Winks is aiming to be fit in three weeks, which could see him play in the Champions League final, should Spurs make it that far.

Tottenham trail Ajax by a single goal after the first leg in their semi-final, and have it all to do on Wednesday in the Netherlands.

Another Harry could be back for England

Gareth Southgate is exploring other options as the Nations League beckons, but the report claims that Harry Kane could be back for the Three Lions.

The England captain injured his ankle in the Champions League against Manchester City. This was Kane’s second big injury of the season, but the striker has a history of returning quickly from such problems.

Losing Winks for some important matches is a blow for Spurs, and hopefully, we can make the Champions League final for the Englishman to possibly play in.
