Spurs transfer news: Tottenham agree on terms with Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele
Euro United (h/t Daily Star) reports that Tottenham have agreed on terms with Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
The 22-year-old has been incredible for Lyon this season and has played 48 games for club and country so far.
The report adds that Spurs are now working to finalise a transfer fee for the French midfielder, however, Juventus also their own deal with Tanguy’s representatives.
Lyon’s Jean-Michel Aulas is a tough nut to crack, and the report claims that the president of the club can try to start a bidding war to get the best deal for Ndombele.
The French midfielder is also being eyed by Premier League leaders Manchester City, according to the report.
Tottenham on the search for a quality midfielder
The report adds that Mauricio Pochettino has demanded a quality central midfielder and Tottenham are desperate to find a replacement for Mousa Dembele.
The Belgian was one of the best players we have had in recent years but left for China in the January transfer window.
Tottenham have not signed a player since Lucas Moura joined more than a year ago, and the report claims that Daniel Levy is ready to spend money in the summer.
