Spurs transfer news: Fernando Llorente’s agent hints at possible Napoli move
Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier has been linked with a move to the Serie A next season with Juventus and Napoli interested in the defender, according to Calciomercato.
The Englishman has struggled for form in the campaign and was at fault for both goals we conceded against Ajax on Wednesday.
Spurs still made it to the final of Champions League thanks to a Lucas Moura hat-trick, however, Fernando Llorente’s introduction into the game made things difficult for the Dutch side.
The Spaniard has scored some crucial goals for us this season and reports (h/t Calciomercato) claim that Napoli are interested in the 34-year-old too.
Jesus Llorente spoke about the Italians’ interest in his brother to Radio Kiss Kiss, and the agent could not rule out a move to Naples (h/t Calciomercato)
“Napoli? When there are rumors there is always an element of truth. We are Juventus fans, but it would be nice to live an experience in Naples. Fabian? He is a complete footballer, I believe that in a team like Napoli he can improve a lot.”
Tottenham face some tough decisions in the summer
Llorente has played a big part in our Champions League campaign this season due to injuries to Harry Kane and Son Heung-min leaving for the Asian Cup mid-season.
However, he isn’t as mobile as our other striker options and Tottenham need to make some big decisions in the transfer window.
Trippier too hasn’t been great this season and we could do with an upgrade for the right-back position.
The pair still have a huge role to play at the end of the season as we look to win the Champions League.
