Latest Spurs news: Danny Rose also being assessed ahead of Everton clash
Tottenham have a Champions League final to prepare for, however, there is the small matter of facing Everton at the weekend.
Spurs are almost guaranteed to finish in the top four unless an eight-goal swing sees Arsenal pip us on the final day. The Gunners play away while we are at home against the Toffees.
There were wild celebrations in Amsterdam and we have a tough final against Liverpool on 1 June.
Spurs will be without Son Heung-min and Juan Foyth as they are serving their bans, and we have another player being assessed ahead of the tie.
Tottenham tweeted that Danny Rose is being looked into ahead of Sunday’s clash. The Englishman was one of the better players against Ajax and he isn’t the only defender out with a problem.
Vertonghen also nursing injury
Jan Vertonghen was pictured leaving Amsterdam on crutches and with a cast on his foot. The tweet added that the Belgian is also being assessed alongside Victor Wanyama.
Davinson Sanchez is also a major doubt for the clash as he continues his rehab regarding a thigh problem.
Spurs will also be without the services of Harry Kane and Harry Winks against the Toffees.
It will be interesting to see how we line up as we cannot afford further injuries ahead of our biggest game in years.
