Spurs transfer news: Mauricio Pochettino wants a huge deal to join Serie A champions Juventus

Corriere dello Sport (h/t Daily Mail) reports that Mauricio Pochettino wants €20million a season to join Italian champions Juventus.

The report claims that Juventus are set to part company with current manager Max Allegri, and Pochettino has threatened to leave Spurs should they not match his plans for the future.

The Italian outlet claims that Pochettino and Juve have made contact and that the manager is making some huge demands.

The report adds that Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli will take his time to make a decision on the next possible manager for the Serie A giants.

Juve picked up another Serie A title this season but failed to reach the Champions League final after being dumped out by Ajax.

Pochettino led Tottenham to the final of the tournament in dramatic fashion, and we face Liverpool for the title on 1 June.

Pochettino has to remain at Spurs

The Argentine certainly is right in suggesting that he wants backing for the upcoming season as Spurs need to build on this performance.

Consistently making it to the top four is one thing, but we need to keep pushing. That can only be possible with some spending in the summer, and hopefully, we sign some quality players to improve the squad.
