Latest Spurs news: Several fans oppose proposed swap deal involving Danny Rose and Lucas Digne
The Daily Star claimed that Tottenham and Everton could discuss a swap deal with Danny Rose joining the Toffees and Lucas Digne coming to Spurs.
The report added that Spurs are interested in the French left-back but Everton would only discuss a deal if Rose came the other way.
Digne has had a decent season for Everton and has been one of the best left-backs in the Premier League. Rose, for his part, has struggled in patches this season but has come good in our Champions League campaign.
The 28-year-old also recently hinted that he could be playing his final game for Spurs in the Champions League final on 1st June.
Rose looking for one big final at club
The Englishman spoke about the rumours of him leaving and wanted to go out by winning the Champions League (h/t Sun):
“I keep seeing my name and that I’m being sold. So if that is the case and it is going to be my last game for Spurs, I’m hoping to go out with a bang and lift a trophy.”
It has been a mixed season for Tottenham as our Premier League campaign had several highs and lows. We just about made it into the top four even after some poor performances in the league.
The Champions League is another story as we played some memorable ties and face Liverpool for the title. Rose should be part of the team if fit and many Tottenham fans did not want to see the Englishman being swapped for Digne.
No way in a million years this will happen

I wish it could be Davies instead, but Rose is turning 29 this year and Digne is 25.
