Spurs transfer news: Andrea Pirlo backs Mauricio Pochettino for Juventus role
Italian legend Andrea Pirlo spoke about one of his former clubs in an interview with Sky Sports (h/t Calciomercato).
The former AC Milan and Juventus star started off by claiming that Mauricio Pochettino would be an ideal candidate to join the Old Lady.
The Argentine manager has led Tottenham to the Champions League final this season and even claimed that winning the title could see him leave (h/t BT Sport).
Pirlo seemed to touch upon the genius of Poch and claimed he has learned a lot from his spell in England and Spain (h/t Calciomercato):
“He has an identity like Juve, he is a modern coach who has done a lot in the English league. Modern coach does not mean only the construction of the game, but everything. It comes from Spanish football, it’s a collection of things “.
The World Cup winner further claimed that Isco would be a great signing for the club that missed out on the Champions League once again.
Juventus won’t find it easy to get Poch
The Argentine has done a wonderful job at Spurs since taking over and has made us Champions League regulars.
The report claims that Juventus manager Max Allegri’s future is uncertain as the Italian feels he has taken the Serie A giants far enough.
Getting Pochettino from Tottenham will not be easy, according to the report, and irrespective of what happens in the Champions League final, we have to keep the Argentine.

It is hard to imagine anyone doing as much for the team as Poch has without major investment and hopefully, he stays at the club for years to come.
