Spurs transfer news: Contact made over Alderweireld and Trippier possibly moving to Juventus
Calciomercato claims that Juventus have made contact to sign Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld.
The centre-back is out of a contract at the end of next season, and the report claims that Juventus and Manchester United have been linked with the 30-year-old.
Alderweireld also has a release clause that can see him leave on the cheap, according to the report, and Juventus chief Fabio Paratici is considering making a move for the centre-back.
The 30-year-old has been immense in our Champions League campaign and should start in the final against Liverpool on June 1.
Trippier being linked with Juventus as well
The other Tottenham player being linked with Juventus is Kieran Trippier, according to the report.
The 28-year-old hasn’t been in great form this season for Spurs and the report claims the Englishman’s representatives have contacted Juve over a possible move to the Italian champions.
Trippier has been our first-choice right-back, which is partly due to the problems with Serge Aurier this season.
Losing Alderweireld would be a major blow to the side and we could need replacements for both players in the summer. Spurs need to have a busy summer to cover the gap on the top two in the Premier League.
