Spurs transfer news: Tottenham sent scouts to watch Nicolo Zaniolo in action over the weekend
Corriere dello Sport (h/t Football.London) claims that Tottenham are ready to spend €50m on AS Roma sensation Nicolo Zaniolo.
The 19-year-old is one of the brightest talents in the Serie A and has scored six goals this season for the Romans.
Zaniolo also represented Italy in their Euro 2020 qualifiers, and the report claims that Tottenham sent scouts to watch the Italian attacker in action.
The 19-year-old played the entire 90 in the 2-0 win over Serie A champions Juventus. Roma lie third in the league and have a great chance of playing Champions League football next season.

Spending €50m on a youngster is a bit of a risk considering we have to be a little careful with our finances.
Tottenham should have some extra money to spend after their Champions League run, and we could end the season as Champions of Europe.
Zaniolo has age on his side and working under Mauricio Pochettino could see the youngster develop into one of the best in the world.
The 19-year-old started 24 games for Roma in all competitions this season and can play out wide or as a centre-forward too.
