The Norwegian youngster also had a couple of trials with our U18 and U16 squad in the last six months, according to the report.

Solberg signed the deal after impressing but will not start at Tottenham until he becomes 16, which is a month away, as per the report.

There was some good news for Bryne too as the general manager of the club Asle Tjotta confirmed (h/t Football.london) Spurs would provide with some compensation for the keeper despite the youngster not having an official contract with the Norwegian club.

Adding quality to the youth team is also great as we have seen some of our youngsters break into the first-team under Mauricio Pochettino.

However, our first-team also need some fresh faces in the summer after not spending in two transfer windows.
