Latest Spurs news: Harry Kane to be named in England’s Nations League squad for finals
The Mirror reports that Tottenham forward Harry Kane will be named in England’s squad for the UEFA Nations League finals, which would provide us with a boost ahead of the Champions League finals.
The England captain is currently undergoing treatment related to ankle ligament damage he picked up against Manchester City in the Champions League.
The report claims that Kane has been making great progress in his recovery and England have time on their side as the deadline to name their 23-man squad is on 27th May.
The Nations League semi-final isn’t far away
England face the Netherlands in the semi-final of the Nations League which takes place just days after the Champions League final.
The other semi-final sees Portugal take on Switzerland with England’s game on 6th June.
The final of the Champions League is in Madrid on 1st June, which provides players very little time to prepare for the international fixtures.
Kane is one of the best in the world and getting him fit for the Champions League final would be a major boost to the team.
The Englishman has a great record against the Reds and hopefully, he can help us win the Champions League for the first time.
