Spurs transfer news: Zinedine Zidane unsure about moving for Christian Eriksen
Zinedine Zidane isn’t keen on signing Tottenham star Christian Eriksen, according to José Ramón de la Morena.
Eriksen has been great in the second half of the campaign and has helped us reach the final of the Champions League.
The former Ajax star is out of contract at the end of next season and the Daily Star claims Mauricio Pochettino could be without the services of the 27-year-old midfielder.
De La Morena spoke on the Spanish show, El Transistor (h/t Daily Star), and claimed that a contract has been agreed between Real and the Danish midfielder.
However, the club still needs Zidane to agree to the deal and the Frenchman has his reservations regarding the 27-year-old. The report doesn’t shed light why the Real Madrid manager isn’t confident about the move.
Zidane’s doubts could be a boost for Spurs
Tottenham have decided to freeze all transfer talks until the Champions League final, according to the Evening Standard.
That decision, coupled with the doubts that Zidane has in his mind, could help us keep Eriksen beyond next season.
Spurs need to offer him the right deal to keep him at the club, and winning the Champions League should increase our chances of holding on to our top stars.

Eriksen has the potential to develop further in the coming years and it would be great if he keeps playing in the white of Tottenham rather than at Real.
