Latest Spurs news: Tottenham to travel early to Madrid for Champions League final

The Sun reports that Tottenham will travel to Madrid early ahead of the Champions League final on June 1.

Spurs face Liverpool in an all-English Champions League final at the Wanda Metropolitano, and the report adds that Mauricio Pochettino will not take his team to a warm-weather training camp.

Jurgen Klopp will do that with Liverpool, however, Pochettino will head to Spain a few days before the final, according to the Sun.

The report claims that Pochettino will fly out with the side on Wednesday, a full two days before the final against the Reds. The other preparations will take place at Enfield at the team’s Bulls Cross headquarters.

Tottenham have had a long and tough season, but we have to be at our best against the Premier League’s second-best side.

The report adds that the players will get a few days off before heading to Madrid and the manager has kept the players going through training after the end of the Premier League.

Spurs have some injury concerns ahead of the finals

Harry Winks was pictured in training recently as the English midfielder returns from his groin surgery.

The midfielder has been included in the Nations League squad for England and hopefully, we also have Harry Kane back for the Champions League final.
