Spurs transfer news: Tottenham face competition from Premier League rivals for Elif Elmas
The Daily Mail reports that Manchester United are tracking Macedonian sensation Elif Elmas.
The 19-year-old plays for Fenerbahce and is considered as one of the brightest talents in Europe.
The report adds that Tottenham are interested in the 19-year-old and Manchester City are also keeping tabs on the Macedonian international.
Elmas has 10 caps for the country and even scored twice in the 3-1 win over Latvia during a Euro 2020 qualifier.
The report adds that United are looking to sign young talent in the summer, and Elmas is the perfect player for them.
Tottenham need to sign players too
Tottenham should also be in the market for players after failing to add new faces in the previous campaign.
Elmas could be a smart addition to the team given his age and potential, however, he might not be the finished article yet.
Doing well in the Turkish league cannot always guarantee a great transition to the Premier League.
Spurs need to sign players that can hit the ground running, but Mauricio Pochettino has done extremely well working with young players throughout his career.
