Latest Spurs news: Tottenham handed boost as injured trio return to training
Tottenham have less than 10 days to go for the Champions League final against Liverpool.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men take on the Reds at the Wanda Metropolitano, looking to win their first Champions League trophy, and there was some good news for the team.
A trio of injured players took part in the session with Harry Kane, Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen all pictured going through the paces.
Kane and Vertonghen returning to full fitness would be a huge boost for us as we need to be at our strongest to face the Reds.
Hugo Lloris too has to be at his best going up against the formidable attacking trio of the Reds.
Harry Winks was pictured in training as well, as the Englishman is back from groin surgery. Hopefully, he is fully fit for the final on June 1.
Our attack would depend on Son Heung-min doing his bit on the pitch. The South Korean has had an excellent season and was seen running past Christian Eriksen.
Lucas Moura was the hero in the semi-final 3-2 win over Ajax and it will be interesting to see if he gets a start in Madrid.
A legend visits Spurs
Former England captain David Beckham also visited the Tottenham training ground and was pictured with Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine manager has some big decisions to make regarding who plays in the final. Erik Lamela was also pictured in training and he could have a role to play against the Reds.
