Spurs transfer news: Tottenham interested in Leeds United’s winger Jack Clarke
The English youngster broke into Marcelo Bielsa’s side last season and played 25 times for them in all competitions.
The 18-year-old winger scored two goals and provided two assists for Leeds but the side missed out on Premier League promotion after their elimination from the playoffs.
The report claims that Leeds’ inability to return to the top-flight will harm their chances of keeping hold of Clarke.
The English winger is contracted with the Championship side until 2021, however, the report claims that talks over a new deal hit a roadblock.
The report adds that Tottenham will be able to provide Clarke with higher wages but there is interest from other parties.
Tottenham’s rivals are keeping an eye on Clarke
Tottenham’s London rivals Arsenal are also interested in the starlet while Newcastle United are also keeping tabs on the 18-year-old, according to the report.
Clarke could turn out to be a smart signing under Mauricio Pochettino given his great record of dealing with young talent.
The Argentine also has a great relationship with Bielsa and played under the Leeds manager during their time in the national side.

The English winger is still a little rough around the edges but Pochettino could make a star out of the youngster at Spurs.
