Latest Spurs news: Tottenham sell-out stadium tickets for Champions League screening
The Evening Standard reports that Tottenham have sold out their new stadium for their Champions League final screening against Liverpool.
Spurs face the Reds at Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano stadium on Saturday, and the report claims that over 62,000 supporters will watch the final on the “biggest LED screens in Europe.”
The report adds that the new stadium features two 325 sqm screens in the South Stand and two 190.7 sqm screens in the North Stand.
To understand the size of the screens, Tottenham’s screens are bigger than all the screens of the 19 other Premier League clubs from this season combined (h/t Evening Standard).
Tottenham look to make a killing from sales
The tickets were priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children, and the report adds that all the eateries and restaurants in the stadium will be open from 6 PM despite the match kicking off at 8 PM.
The report claims that Spurs have held some tickets as supporters might need to be shifted, while there are plans to open more premium areas of the ground ahead of Saturday’s final.
Spurs have been excellent in the Champions League this season and have a chance of winning their first trophy under Mauricio Pochettino.
