Spurs transfer news: Tottenham leading race for Andreas Skov Olsen of Nordsjaelland
The Sun reports that Mauricio Pochettino is leading the race for 19-year-old winger Andreas Skov Olsen.
The youngster is valued at £10million and had a great season with Danish side Nordsjaelland, according to the report.
Olsen was watched by Tottenham in the Danish first division, and the report claims that the 19-year-old bagged 22 goals as several top European clubs are tracking his progress.
The Danish youngster has caught the attention of Everton, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich, according to the report.
Tottenham are in the lead for the 19-year-old due to Pochettino’s excellent record of working with young talent over the years (h/t Sun).
The report adds that Spurs could bid for the player in the summer as the Danish youngster is in the final year of his contract.
Another Eriksen kind of move on the cards for Olsen?
Olsen is dubbed as the next Christian Eriksen, according to the report, and is tipped to make a big move to a top club.
The 19-year-old could be the ideal signing for Spurs given that he is cheap and has the potential to develop further.
Pochettino has already brought the best out of several young talents since his time in England, and Olsen could be another one.
However, Tottenham cannot keep signing players that have potential to become great. We need to strengthen the first-team with stars who can contribute right from the get-go.

Spurs haven’t signed a single senior player in over a year, and that has to change if we want to challenge for top honours every season.
