Spurs transfer news: Daniel Levy met with Real Madrid officials prior to discuss several deals
The Champions League final did not go as Tottenham had planned after a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.
Spurs had their chances to win the trophy for the first time, however, luck was not on our side as we gave away a controversial penalty in the first minute.
Mohamed Salah scored from that spot-kick before Divock Origi added a second late in the game.
This was a bitter pill to swallow after such an excellent campaign, but the trip to Spain saw Daniel Levy take part in some talks too.
AS (h/t Calciomercato) states that the Tottenham chairman met with Real Madrid representatives and discussed several deals.
One of them was Christian Eriksen, according to the report, with Real being interested in the Dane for a while.
Eriksen is contracted with Tottenham till 2020, and the report claims that Real are willing to bid a maximum of €70m for the midfielder.
Disappointing performances by many players
Eriksen was not the only player to have a below average performance at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday.
Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min were also below par though they tried their best to get us going.
Losing Eriksen would be a blow to the team but we need to do our best to keep him. The 27-year-old is one of the most creative players in the Premier League and will be tough to replace.

The interesting part of the report is about Levy discussing several deals. Spurs need to invest in the side and it is to be seen if we sign a Real Madrid player in the summer.
