Spurs transfer news: Ryan Sessegnon wants a move to Tottenham and will not sign new deal
The Guardian reports that Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon will not sign a new deal with Fulham and wants a move to Tottenham.
The 19-year-old has just one year left on his current deal, and the report claims that Fulham would only receive training costs if Sessegnon leaves on a free next season.
The English youngster didn’t have a great season with the Cottagers this season as they were relegated after just one campaign in the top flight.
The report claims that Fulham have spoken about a transfer fee of £45m for the 19-year-old, however, Tottenham want to pay £25m for the versatile player.
Interest from several clubs for Sessegnon
Although Sessegnon wants a move to Spurs, there is interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain for the 19-year-old (h/t Guardian).
However, Sessegnon wants to join Spurs and believes he will do well under Mauricio Pochettino, according to the report.
The manager wants to sign the Englishman before 8 July, when the Spurs players meet up for pre-season, according to the Guardian.
Sessegnon would be an excellent signing for Spurs given that he is young and has the potential to improve under the right manager.

Hopefully, we can sign the Englishman for a decent price, and bring in other quality players to strengthen the team.
