Spurs transfer news: Manchester United see Christian Eriksen as Paul Pogba replacement
The Evening Standard claims that Ed Woodward is looking for possible Paul Pogba replacements. The Frenchman wants to leave Manchester United, and the report claims that he wants to join Real Madrid.
The La Liga giants have already spent a lot in the summer and the report adds that Woodward wants to reject any move for the World Cup winner.
The report claims that Christian Eriksen is seen as a top replacement for the Frenchman, and the Dane also spoke about trying something new after the Champions League final defeat.
The former Ajax star hasn’t signed a new contract with us, however, the report claims that Youri Tielemans is also a target for United after his impressive campaign with Leicester City.
The report adds that the preferred option is to keep hold of Pogba and build a team around him.
Major summer ahead for Spurs
Tottenham have a big summer ahead of them as some quality signings have to be made after a tough season.
We reached the Champions League final but our league form was sketchy in the second half of the season. Further, we haven’t signed players in two transfer windows and our squad was stretched due to injuries last season.

Losing Eriksen to a Premier League rival cannot take place and if we are to sell the Dane, it should be to a non-English club.
