Latest Spurs news: Tottenham fans react to Bruno Fernandes’ performance as Portugal win Nations League
Correio de Manha (h/t Daily Mail) claims that Tottenham are waiting for Christian Eriksen’s future to be resolved before making a move for Bruno Fernandes.
The Portuguese midfielder was excellent for Sporting Lisbon last season as he scored 20 goals and provided 13 assists in the league.
The 24-year-old is also being linked with Manchester United and Liverpool, according to the report, and the midfielder has broken into the Portuguese national side.
Glory for Portugal again
Fernandes played in both Nations League games for Portugal. The hosts defeated Switzerland and the Netherlands as they lifted another international trophy.
The 24-year-old did not score in either game but he seems to be a great talent for the future. The midfielder started both games as Portugal won another crown after their Euro 2016 success.
The report adds that Tottenham are also keeping an eye on Giovani Lo Celso of Real Betis. Fernandes has been in incredible touch over the past two seasons, and the report claims that his future is in England.
It will be interesting to see where he ends up playing football in the upcoming campaign, but many Tottenham fans already want Fernandes to play for us next season.
C’mon ye #spurs… sign Bruno Fernandes. NOW! #thfc #coys

After watching Bruno Fernandes today, I’d prefer him to Lo Celso. Also I’d like for us to get Ndombele and Sessegnon as well. If we only signed those 3 I’d be more than happy
