Spurs transfer news: Tottenham to submit improved bid for Argentine star Giovani Lo Celso
Tottenham are willing to submit an improved offer for Giovani Lo Celso after seeing a bid of up to £53m rejected by Real Betis, according to the Mirror.
The 23-year-old was incredible for the La Liga side as he scored 16 goals in all competitions. His form also bought him a ticket into the Argentina team and Lo Celso should feature in the Copa America.
The report claims that Betis want the full £88.9m release clause for the Argentine, and believe they could get a great deal if he performs well in the summer.
Lo Celso joined Betis on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and was great in his debut La Liga season.
Tottenham not interested in other stars
Julian Draxler and Pablo Sarabia were offered to Spurs, however, the club isn’t interested in either of them, according to the report.
Christian Eriksen’s future is up in the air, and the report claims that Tottenham are looking at a long list of possible replacements.
The Dane recently spoke about trying a new challenge after the Champions League final defeat to Liverpool.
