Spurs transfer news: Mauricio Pochettino hands Daniel Levy list of transfers
David Hytner of the Guardian reports that Mauricio Pochettino has handed Daniel Levy a list of targets for the summer.
The report claims that four of the players on the list are Ryan Sessegnon, Nicolo Zaniolo, Donny van de Beek and Tanguy Ndombele.
The manager has made it clear that he wants to see fresh faces in the club, and the report claims that he will return to England at the start of pre-season.
Levy will try to balance the incomings and outgoings at the club, according to the report, as the chairman has to deal with payments related to the new Tottenham stadium.
Good news with Pochettino planning to stay
The report adds that Pochettino is planning for the next season and is willing to stay for the next phase at Spurs.
The Argentine knows that the club cannot battle financially with Liverpool and the two Manchester Clubs, but is willing to do his best with all that he has (h/t Guardian).
Tottenham haven’t signed players in two transfer windows, but they need to strengthen a side that was stretched last season.
The report throws up an interesting stat with all 25 members of the Tottenham team started at least two games, including Michel Vorm and Paulo Gazzaniga.
It will be interesting to see if which players we land in the summer as Levy is always trying to get the best deal for the club.
